Lynn (IPA(key) /lɪn/) is an Eastern Basitin and the Personal Advisor of Ambassador Keith Keiser. Before his position under Keith, he was the Messenger of the Master General Nickolai Alaric. Following Alaric's death, Lynn was royally mandated to serve as the newly appointed Ambassador Keith's 'Personal Advisor.'
Appearance[]
Lynn bears the appearance of most of the other Basitins in the series, all brown fur, rather long ears and a short stature but, unlike other Basitins, his ears remain relaxed and "droopy" and his eyes are usually closed though they have been shown to be grey. While Lynn's gender is unknown, male pronouns have been used.

INFORMANTION TO BE FORMATTED INTO ABOVE SECTION[]
Lynn first appears in Page 381 , to deliver a message from Alaric to Keith, instructing him to meet up with Alaric at the baths.
Nothing more is seen of Lynn, until Page 548 , once again to deliver to Keith a document from Alaric: this time A legally-binding edict declaring Keith Keiser's citizenship lawful. He doesn't appear again until partway through Keith's trial, where he dramatically introduces King Adelaide to the court. He, with the support of the King, proceeds to expose Alaric's legal loophole which, supported by Madelyn Adelaide's letter, dictates that Keith Keiser be appointed as a general.
Lynn is later seen watching over Keith in Page 663 , having boarded Eric's ship before it set sail. When Keith bumps into Trace and Lynn some pages later, the latter Basitin promptly disappears, seemingly into thin-air, with Keith questioning his abrupt disappearance.
Lynn is not seen again until Page 801, where he is revealed to be the physical host for Nickolai Alaric's spirit since his death. This was later revealed to be an April Fools joke, and is thus non-canon. (The page has been since removed from the archives.) Lynn appeared once again in chapter 17 in the ship giving Eric some tea, and Eric giving him a spare guest room to stay in.
Once reaching the mainland, Lynn disembarks as part of Keith's diplomatic entourage. He becomes caught up in battle with a trio of strangers- confronting them over the location of Natani. During this, he's exposed to pink gas released from a heart-shaped bottle by Sealeen.
The gas was supposed to have an aphrodisiac-like effect on all males of all races, allowing Sealeen to control them with ease. However, the potion proves to be ineffective due to his unique trait of being "Blind to both genders," a skill required for his occupation.
After explaining this, Lynn tells Sealeen that even though he knows her flirtatious overtures were not sincere, he still enjoyed being spoken to like this- something that the other members of his own society wouldn't do, as they would never view him in such a way. Ironically, his earnestness appears to endear Sealeen to him (admitting that she finds his ears "cute"). The two of them seem to strike up a rapport from this point on.
Personality[]
Lynn is a bit of a trickster, though still a strict follower of the rules. He was able to easily score a place to stay on Eric's ship by gifting him some tea, even after the man was annoyed with the presence of the stowaway Maddie. When arriving in Edinmire, Lynn reveals that he was able to commit to memory several major settlements from maps brought to the Basidian islands by Humans and also forged Keith's signature on some important documents for his friends.
When the Edinmire guards came to try and arrest the canine Keidran of the group, Lynn suggested to Trace that everyone could "surrender" to him and be taken to his estate, the place everyone wanted to head to anyway. Lynn also showed an interesting bit of surprise when he witnessed Natani and Keith kiss. He also came in to remind Keith that he still had to follow the Basitin laws of not sharing a room with one of the opposite sex. Keith objected and Lynn capitulated but still seemed bothered by it. Lynn is incredibly by the books, every course of action taken is to get to the end goal. Even if, ironically, it means he might have to break the rules.
Abilities and Powers[]
Poison Resistance[]
Like all other Basitin it can be assumed that Lynn has a natural resistance to poison.

Trivia[]
- Throughout the entire comic Lynn has only ever opened his eyes once, that being Page 943, as a surprised reaction to Keith and Natani showing affection.
- He is the only character present at the Legacy estate at the time to not make an appearance during Chapter 20.
- Lynn is one of the four characters confirmed to be considered "LGBT+" in the real world, five including the possibility of Nickolai Alaric. Lynn's exact alignment is unknown but is it possible he sees himself as gender fluid. Eastern Basitin culture encourages separation of males and females however Lynn says that their is always need for a go between, him being that go between. He is referred to by male pronouns by all characters, although he doesn't seem to mind it is clear he does not just see himself as just male.
